Look in the directory you named above, you should find /lampstack/apps/joomla/htdocs Joomla is in the htdocs folder. Home/susan/joomla is not the actual Joomla directory unless you changed the path during install.

Get 1.5.6 -> 1.5.8 upgrade here: (Second from top) Install JoomlaPack 2 on your hosted site. There is an easy way to copy your hosted site to your local site instead of deleting all the sample content. Download the upgrade, unzip it and copy over the existing Joomla directory NOT THE LAMPSTACK/Joomla directory, go further in, Joomla is way down here: home/ripose/lampstack/apps/joomla/htdocs.Ĭopy the files there, Ubuntu will ask if want to MERGE the files, Click - "YES TO ALL" then it will ask if you want to REPLACE the files, Click "YES TO ALL". Hopefully the first method, but either way you need to upgrade from 1.5.6 to 1.5.8 VERY EASY if you do it now. There is more.ĭid you install BitNami lampstack beta 1 and the Joomla MODULE or did you use joomla-lampstack.
